Assistant Principal - Morgan Dentler
RCE Family,
I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Rocky Creek Elementary, a school that has been my home since 2011. Over the years, Rocky Creek has shaped me as an educator and leader, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the students, families, staff, and community that make this school truly special.
I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2014, I earned my Gifted Endorsement through Henry County Schools, and in 2018, I received my Master's Degree from Thomas University. In 2021, I was humbled to be named Rocky Creek Elementary's Teacher of the Year.
Throughout my career at Rocky Creek, I have had the privilege of serving a variety of roles. I began my career as a classroom teacher from 2011 to 2021, continued as an Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher from 2021 to 2023, and moved into the role of Instructional Effectiveness Facilitator (IEF) from 2023 to 2026 before stepping into the position of Assistant Principal. Each experience has strengthened my passion for supporting students, coaching teachers, and fostering a positive school culture centered on growth and excellence.
My leadership is grounded in relationships, collaboration, and a belief that every student can learn, grow, and achieve at high levels. I am passionate about supporting high-quality instruction and partnering with teachers to create engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of every learner. I also believe that the best educators never stop learning, and I am committed to fostering a culture where we continue to reflect, grow, and support one another in our shared mission of student success.
Rocky Creek has always been more than a school to me—it is family. I believe that when schools, families, and the community work together, we create the strongest foundation for our students. I look forward to building meaningful partnerships with our families and community members while working alongside our incredible staff to ensure every Racer feels supported, challenged, and celebrated. Together, we will continue building on the strong traditions that make Rocky Creek Elementary an exceptional place to learn and grow.
