Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Rocky Creek Elementary!

At RCE, we remain deeply committed to sustaining a positive school culture and a high-performing learning environment. Our devoted and enthusiastic staff is excited for another opportunity to provide students with engaging, rigorous, and meaningful learning experiences.

Since its inception, Rocky Creek has embodied what it means to be part of a unified family. It goes beyond words and is best described as a feeling and a way of life. The Rocky Creek culture is rooted in relationships, shared experiences, and a collective vision. That vision says that regardless of the challenge, we remain committed to excellence and student success.

Our focus for the 2026–2027 school year is “Focused Forward.” This reflects our commitment to building upon our successes, addressing areas for growth, and moving forward with purpose and intentionality. We will work diligently to close learning gaps while accelerating learning for students who are ready for greater challenges. We will also continue fostering a safe, caring school environment built upon trust, high expectations, and a genuine love for children.

I graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. I earned a master’s degree in Post-Secondary Education from Troy University and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University. Before joining Henry County Schools in 2014 as a fourth-grade teacher, I served as an academic coach for three years in Bibb County, where I had previously taught second, third, and fifth grades. I served as Rocky Creek’s assistant principal for four years before becoming principal in 2019.

I am honored to lead a community that pours its heart and energy into maintaining the standards of excellence and hard work upon which RCE was built. Our high expectations and caring environment make Rocky Creek a special place for students, staff, and families. We are committed to supporting the academic, social, emotional, and mental well-being of every student while modeling respect, integrity, compassion, accountability, and a desire to continually grow.

Rocky Creek will remain family-oriented as we work with parents and caregivers as partners in the learning process. We understand that strong schools are built through meaningful relationships, open communication, and a shared commitment to doing what is best for children. Our students will remain the driving force behind every decision we make.
