Mental Health and Wellness

Hello! My name is Jennifer Foster and I am so excited to serve as the Mental Health and Wellness Facilitator (MHWF) at Rocky Creek Elementary. As the MHWF, my mission is to support the emotional well-being of both students and staff. Through preventative programs, trauma-informed practices, and wellness-focused initiatives, I help create a positive, connected school environment.
By teaching students how to manage emotions, handle challenges peacefully, and prioritize self-care, we lay the groundwork for lasting success—both in and out of the classroom.
Ultimately, my goal is to build sustainable systems that enhance student engagement, increase school connectedness, and nurture a supportive learning environment for everyone at Rocky Creek.
On a personal note, I am a Georgia native and a product of Henry County Schools where I graduated from Eagles Landing High School in 1990-something. After high school I obtained my Masters Degree in Education from Mercer University and have served as an educator since 2005. Personally I enjoy spending time with friends & family, playing games, beach & pool time, laughing, and just having a good time with others.
